Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Castilla la Mancha and Graduated in Graphic Design by the ESDA.
Since 2015 she lives in Paris, where she works as a freelance illustrator, mainly in the middle of the press illustration. Has worked with numerous international media and magazines such as Libération, The Washington Post, Glamor, Muze, Atlas Obscura, etc.
Helena's technique is characterized by a particular use of manual collage, that mixes paper with parts drawn in pencil to make their illustrations
of portraits. The conceptual collages are also made by hand mixing Cuttings from old magazines with different papers and textures.
Her style is inspired by surrealist art, Russian constructivism, the dream world and the subconscious, the cinema and the jazz aesthetic of the 50s.
